Atlas of the Roman World

by Tim J. Cornell, John Matthews

Review

Atlas of the Roman World

A somewhat useful overview of Roman history with some good maps that appear along with illustrations to discuss different elements in the history of the Roman world from it origins on the Tiber to the eventual collapse of the empire. The later maps showing the regions under the sway of the Roman Empire at its peak are particularly good.
