So Good They Can’t Ignore You: Why Skills Trump Passion in the Quest for Work You Love

While there are some good point and the idea of following your passion may be deeply flawed, this book remains mostly a collection of anecdotes the neither proves nor disproves the author’s hypothesis. It’s a good starting point for considering other paths to satisfying work and fans of the craftsmanship approach to work (a common idea in technical fields where most of the examples are drawn from) will find this a satisfying read.
