A definitive guide to citing genealogy sources. Used in conjunction with the Chicago Manual of Style, this book fills in the special cases and exceptions that genealogists encounter. Deceptively slim, this book not only covers specific citation examples for things like online records, unpublished works and other commonly-encountered items, it also provides incredibly useful guidelines on determining the validity of sources (and in using secondary sources to prove facts) and the degree of specificity needed for citations, particularly in cases were sources disagree.
